New screenshots provide us with a much better look at Guile and Zangief's classic outfits as well. In a new screenshot, we see Chun in her trademark blue and yellow outfit as she fires off a super at Ryu. While every returning character in Street Fighter 6 has seemingly aged a bit, a costume like Chun-Li's classic outfit sees her go right back to her more youthful days. These nostalgic digs take us right back to Street Fighter 2, and beginning with Ryu, the series poster boy ditches his beard and new robe to don his classic gi, red headband, and a cleaner shaven face. Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, Guile, and Zangief all saw classic looks transferred into the modern age, and they look fantastic. We have seen this costume a couple of times in the past, but the new footage and screenshot give us a better look at it for sure.Īs an added treat, Capcom also showed off some of the classic costumes we'll be finding in Street Fighter 6. The final newcomer to see a new costume shown during the presentation was Jamie, who had his casual street outfit on display once again. This man somehow found a suit that is even more slick than his default look, and with this alternate he is absolutely dressed to the nines. This costume was actually revealed via Twitter last week, but the showcase brought more footage of it and follow up assets give us a nice, clear screenshot of it to admire as well. For the first time, fans were treated to a look at one of Lily's other outfits that sees her dressed in a colorful woolen jacket with a matching cap.įans also got another look at Kimberly's recently revealed alternate outfit which sees her trade in her Bushinryu ninja garb for some comfortable looking street clothes. Two of Street Fighter 6's newest female combatants had alternate costumes featured in the showcase.
